I know, I know…you’ve heard it before:

“Hey, guess what?! I’m starting a blog!”

Okay, so it’s my third attempt at blogging. But just to be fair, the first time I did it for an entire year (give or take…maybe take, but who’s counting) and then I had a second child. So, I got a little busy and that’s a good excuse, right? The second time, which was just at the end of last year, I had the very best of intentions and then I went back to work. Two kids. Back at work. Who has time to blog? Especially with all those episodes of House Hunters on…

But now, I’m back! No new kids. No new job. No new anything. Well, there is that one little thing I picked up a Nordstrom the other day – but I digress. So as far as I can tell, I have no excuses. Except, of course, if I come up with a good one – but hey, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Because I don’t want to entirely lose what I’ve done previously, particularly because much of it chronicles our life since moving to Oregon and us as a family of three before Elena, I think I may post archives from the old blog from time to time. And speaking of old blog, this new venture also comes with a new, easier to remember web address (and web host – thanks WordPress!) along with a new look.

I hope you choose to come along with us on as we enter this new chapter in the journey of life. (Wow, that was profound.)
